Mt Shasta Summit Climb

An overnight mountaineering trip on the largest volcano in the Cascade Range: Mount Shasta!  We hike to camp, start early on day 2 for our summit attempt and descend back to the trailhead.  This accelerated two-day program includes a brief refresher on ice axes, crampons and rope skills, but the expectation is that you have learned and practiced these skills prior to this program.  All participants on this program should have excellent mountain fitness and general mountain sense. 

Ascent and descent options include: Avalanche Gulch, West Face, Brewer Creek, Clear Creek.
